Charity evening raises £2,500

A football supporters’ group raised £2,500 at a charity race night.
The Keighley Celtic Supporters Club collected the cash with help from Keighley Engineers Club, in Russell Street.
The fans presented £1,000 to Manorlands hospice for the care of people with life-limiting illnesses and £1,500 to the Suzie Jeng Grant Our Mummy’s Wish campaign, run by friends of Suzie Jeng, of Exley Head , Keighley, who suffers from a rare form of cancer.
The night also featured a raffle and an auction, which included items such as a limited edition Celtic watch, boxing gloves signed by legend John Conteh and a cricket bat signed by England players.
