An annual golf day to raise money for Bradford charity, The Ear Trust, has been held at Bingley St Ives Golf Club.
Organiser and Ear Trust fundraiser Breeda Barry said: “There was a full field for the four-ball event which started with lunch and ended with a presentation and dinner.
“The weather was great and the charity raised £3,000. This is all thanks to local businesses who entered teams, sponsored a hole and donated raffle and auction prizes.
“Professor Chris Raine was delighted with the results and would like to thank everyone who continues to support him.”
The Ear Trust raises money to support the work of the Yorkshire Cochlear Implant Service at Bradford Royal Infirmary and was set up by ENT consultant, Prof Raine. Cochlear implants can transform the lives of profoundly deaf people.
