Organisers of the Bradford Bounce have appealed for more participants to join them in a Guinness World Record attempt at City Park next month.
Yorkshire Cancer Research and Bradford District Council are inviting 2,000 people to join them at ‘Bounce for Bradford’ on Sunday, July 22, for a fun-filled morning of bouncing on space hoppers, which they hope will raise money for cancer research, treatment and diagnosis projects throughout the region.
The cult 1970s toys proved a massive hit with young and old alike at ‘Bounce for Leeds’ last year, when thousands of pounds were raised for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
Next month’s organisers are setting their sights high and with your help will attempt to break the world record for the largest number of people bouncing on space hoppers simultaneously for one minute.
The event begins from 9.30am with the main bounce event starting at 11am.
Entry costs £12 per person. All participants will receive a T-shirt and a space hopper.
