An investigation is today under way into the cause of a fire in a disused school building.
Firefighters were called to the former Wapping Road First School building in Wapping Road, Bradford, at 5.12pm yesterday, following reports of a fire.
A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said piles of rubbish were on fire when crews arrived.
He said the fire had also spread to parts of the roof.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, he added.
Wapping Road First School, which is the site of England's first school swimming pool, was closed in 2000 and sold to a development company in 2006, but has remained empty.
