A 33-year-old man will go on trial at Bradford Crown Court on June 19 accused of murdering restaurant worker Amjad Hussain.
Mr Hussain, 31, was found dead in the living room of his home in Rylstone Gardens, Undercliffe, Bradford, on January 12. Firefighters made the discovery when they were called by neighbours to a blaze deliberately started at the house.
Mr Hussain, who was married with a nine-year-old son, worked at the Four Seasons restaurant in Burley-in-Wharfedale.
Yesterday, Mohammed Naeem, of Westfield Terrace, Undercliffe, pleaded not guilty to Mr Hussain’s murder. He was remanded back into custody.
