Councillors agreed to allow changes to a legal agreement connected to planning permission for 14 homes.
The section 106 agreement for the scheme at Errington House, Micklethwaite Lane, Bingley, originally called for contributions of £63,000 to be paid to Bradford Council as planning obligations before work began.
These included contributions to education and recreational facilities and towards traffic regulation orders.
Further payments, this time for travel cards, would be due before any of homes were occupied.
Developer Stonebridge Homes has now asked that half of the required contributions for education and recreation be paid before work starts, and the remainder upon occupation of the eighth home.
Members of the Council’s regulatory and appeals committee agreed to the changes.
