Girl, 16, attacked and robbed in Bradford park

A 16-year-old girl was attacked and robbed by a pair of teenagers as she was walking with a friend through Peel Park, Undercliffe, Bradford, last night.
Police said the girl was forcibly searched by both robbers and property including her mobile phone and bus pass were stolen. She was left with a cut below her eye and bruising.
The suspects, both described by police as Asian and in their late teens, ran away towards Harrogate Street.
The first suspect was about 6ft tall and stocky. The second was about 5ft 10ins tall, chubby and had a lighter skin tone than his accomplice.
Detective Constable Alexis Towers, of Airedale and North Bradford CID, said: “This incident happened in a busy park in daylight and at a peak time for joggers and dog walkers.
“We would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information to contact Airedale and North Bradford CID via 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
