Big screen performances revealed

The Royal Opera House has announced this summer’s BP Summer Big Screen performances in Bradford will be The Royal Opera’s La bohème and Falstaff and The Royal Ballet’s Metamorphosis: Titian 2012.
The performances, which will be broadcast on the big screen in Centenary Square, are to be featured as part of London Festival 2012.
The productions of opera and ballet will be beamed live from Covent Garden to a record 27 locations up and down the UK.
Bradford residents and visitors will be able to watch The Royal Opera’s La bohème on Thursday, May 17, at 7.30pm and Falstaff on Wednesday, May 30, at 7.30pm. The Royal Ballet’s Metamorphosis: Titian 2012 will be screened on Monday, July 16, at 7.30pm.
