A new waste transfer station will be built after plans were approved. The Yorwaste plant will be used for the bulking and transfer of waste currently received at Yorwaste’s own Skibeden landfill site in Skipton, which is due to close this summer. North Yorkshire County Council’s planning committee has granted approval for Yorwaste to develop the facility at an asphalt plant site at Halton East, Skipton.
