A woman had to be rescued from a vehicle after she was involved in a road traffic collision in Bradford today.
Firefighters from Idle and Bingley were called to Otley Road, Undercliffe, at about 2.30pm today following reports of a road accident.
A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said: “One female adult was extricated by the fire service and taken to hospital by ambulance.”
A section of the road was blocked while the emergency operation took place, leading to heavy traffic in the surrounding area.
One passer-by, who saw the aftermath, said: "There seemed to have been three vehicles involved. It looked quite dramatic. One of the vehicles was a real mess."
