TOWNWOMEN’S GUILD: The next meeting is on Tuesday at 2.15pm in the Methodist Church Hall when Ann Drake will talk about ’This Little Piggy’.

RUGBY: With all matches postponed last week the Wyke ARLFC hope to play the re-arranged Andrew Bennett Memorial Cup game at Brighouse Rangers on Saturday at 2pm. The second team is at home at 2.30pm to Cowling Harlequins.

ST MARY’S: Holy Communion with the Reverend Margaret Lyons is celebrated on Sunday at 9am followed at 10.30am with Liquid Worship. A forum to discuss funds for improvements to the Church Hall and churchyard is on Wednesday from 3pm to 6pm with displays, raffle, entertainment and refreshments.

NEW HORIZONS: At the meeting of the Art Group on Tuesday, in the Wyke Centre at 2pm, Alan Taylor will be presenting a demonstration on landscape painting. The normal painting class is on Thursday. On Friday the indoor bowling is in the Wyke Centre from 10am and the computer club in the Community College, also from 10am.

CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP: The services on Sunday are at 10.30am with praise and worship with teaching by Paul Hallam followed with a 6.30pm service with David Wilson. Toddler Church is on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.45am. All are welcome at the coffee morning on Thursday from 10am.

BOOK SALE: The staff and residents at Earlswood will hold a book sale in the community room on Saturday, February 25, from 11am to 1pm.

SERVICES: The services on Sunday at 10.30am will be conducted by John Dobson at the Westfield UR Church and Les Williams at the Methodist Church.
