A 33-year-old Asian man was left “shocked” after being racially abused in a supermarket car park, police have said.

The victim was walking across the car park of Morrisons, in Otley Road, Guiseley, when he saw blue Subaru Impreza car reversing and heard the driver shout something to him.

The driver then got out of the car and shouted at the victim.

The offender was described as white, in his late 20s to early thirties, about 5ft 11ins tall, slim, with short brown hair.

He had earrings in both ears, a gold neck chain and two sovereign rings and a tattoo on his right hand.

He wore a grey tracksuit top, with black on the shoulders, and blue stonewashed jeans.
