Residents in Cleckheaton who were evacuated from their houses after acetylene cylinders were found in a burning building have been allowed to return home.
Ten homes in Oak Rise had been emptied as a precaution after emergency services were called to Hillside Works, at the Stubs Beck Lane industrial estate at 7.30am today.
Police have also now re-opened Whitehall Road, which had been closed both ways between the M62 junction at Chain Bar and Hunsworth Lane.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said a cordon was originally put in place after it emerged that acetylene cylinders were present inside the building.
