A 55-year-old woman suffered a broken leg following a ‘hit and run’ accident in Bradford.
Police are appealing for information following the collision yesterday, in Grange Avenue, Allerton.
Officers said a red hatchback car collided with the woman who was crossing the road at 7.30am.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The driver then continued along the road and turned right down Chapel Lane.
“It is likely a number of motorists were in the area at the time as it was approaching rush hour.
“Officers are therefore appealing for anyone with any information about the incident.”
Anyone with information can contact PC Andrew Gudgeon on (01274) 376241 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
