Several Bradford schools have been affected by the weather conditions with some forced to close completely and others open late this morning.
St Bede’s Catholic Grammar School was fully closed due to snow in the area.
Liz Davison, headteacher at St Oswald's CE Primary School in Great Horton, said staff took up to three hours to get to school this morning.
She said: “It’s mainly staff coming from Halifax, Queensbury and Brighouse, it seems to be that side of Bradford, we have had huge problems.”
