The scene of the accident
A boy, aged about 12, has been injured in an accident with a car as he walked to school in Leeds Road, Thackley, Bradford, at 7.45am today.
He was taken by ambulance to Bradford Royal Infirmary where he was treated for head injuries. His condition was not thought to be life threatening.
Police cordoned off the road near the junction with Hyde Street as investigations continued. Traffic was being diverted on to Crag Hill Road and Thackley Road.
