A 27-year-old man facing two charges of rape was today remanded in custody by magistrates in Bingley.
Father-of-two Rehees Ali, of Priestman Street, Manningham, Bradford, is accused of twice raping a 21-year-old woman early last Saturday in Valley Road, Bradford.
Ali was told his case was being committed to Bradford Crown Court.
The Bench informed him his next appearance would be at the higher court by TV link on Tuesday, November 30, for a plea and case management hearing.
An application for bail made by Ali’s lawyer Amjid Hussain was refused.
