Youngsters at Allerton Primary School have raised £830 to help victims of the Pakistan floods.
Year six pupils at the school baked and sold buns and organised a non-uniform day to raise the funds for charity Humanity First.
The organisation is helping to support 30,000 people affected by the disaster by providing medical supplies, food, mosquito nets and water filtration kits.
Mansoora Ahmed, an administrator at the school, said: “It was all their idea. They wrote a letter explaining to the other pupils why they thought it was important. We thought it was fabulous the way they did it.”
