Youngsters are trying their hand at keeping fit using new interactive technology installed at Richard Dunn Sports Centre in Bradford.
The iZone provides a range of equipment designed to help eight to 15-year-olds exercise while they play.
The equipment features interactive dance floors, exercise bikes, Wii Fits and rowing challenges. A six-week pass costs £25 until September 5, or people can pay just £2.30 per session.
Trainers can give personal exercise plans and a large plasma screen provides entertainment while exercising.
Councillor the Reverend Paul Flowers, the Council’s executive member for culture, planning and housing, said: “Providing children and young people with the opportunity to take part in regular physical activity is a key element of our B- active campaign, so it is fantastic to see so many making use of the new iZone gym.”
