Farsley Celtic face two very important home games in the UniBond Premier Division this week, the first being tomorrow when Ilkeston Town visit Throstle Nest.

The Celts are still fourth but their hopes of eroding top-club North Ferriby United's lead were rocked by a midweek defeat at Marine. Nothing less than a win against struggling Ilkeston will do as they look to get their promotion push back on track. "We are definitely looking to come back from Tuesday, there is still a desire to accumulate as many points as possible," said manager Lee Sinnott.

"The first thing you want after a bitter disappointment is to get back out there for the next game. Fortunately that is possible tomorrow - a swift return to action and a chance for the players to get back to winning. I will be looking for a positive reaction from them, but that is not to say we were well beaten last time out. Far from it, we didn't do too badly.

"It is just annoying when you lose to people around you in the table.

"There are still 15 games to go and there are some tough fixtures for every one of the teams chasing the title or even the play-off places.

"Teams will continue to take points off each other. We will have a clearer picture at the end of February." Midfielder Amjad Iqbal is unavailable as he is attending his brother's wedding and there are three injury doubts.

Striker Simeon Bambrook (calf) and Andy Shields (medial ligaments) both missed the Marine game and Andy Watson (knee) is being nursed through.
