Femi Fehintola reckons he has found the diet for success by tucking into Ricky Hatton's food regime.

The Bradford super-feather is now under the wing of

conditioning guru Kerry Kayes, the fitness expert who licks the Hitman into top shape before each fight.

Unbeaten Fehintola admits Kayes has already revolutionised meal time - and he can feel the difference.

He said: "I'm so much fitter in myself. I'm eating a lot of high-protein food and whereas before I would only eat two meals a day, I now have six as well as drinking as much water as I can.

"It's the same diet that Ricky Hatton goes on when he is preparing for fights and I feel stronger than ever.

"Kerry has also stopped me worrying about my weight. I used to be on the scales almost every day, which would stress me out, but now I'm only allowed to be weighed on Saturdays.

"I haven't had a lot of trust

in other people in the past. I've spoken to nutritionists plenty of times before but always been a bit wary of following their advice.

"But having seen what Kerry has done with Ricky Hatton, I know this guy really knows his stuff."

Fehintola, who fights Frenchman Frederic Bonifai in Monte Carlo next month, hasn't got to worry about doing all the cooking either after moving back in with his mum.

After a difficult year away from the ring, he sat down with his management team and decided that there was no place like home to concentrate on his boxing.

"I've rented my house out for a year so there is no mortgage to worry about," said Fehintola.

"There are no distractions now so that should help me really push on.

"I've got one of the best

promoters in the world in Dennis Hobson and some great people behind me. It's just down to me.

"How many boxers can say they've fought in Monte Carlo? That's a big opportunity for me to catch the eye and then I'll be on the undercard again for Clinton Woods' next defence in Sheffield in April." And with Hatton hooking up with Hobson's Fight Academy for his American debut in Connecticut in June, Fehintola can dream of heading State-side.

The exciting prospect from Bradford Moor could have plenty to get his teeth into over the next few months.
