second teams' title intensified.

The Batley side were at home to East Bierley and dismissed them for 102, Mark Inwood taking four for 30 and father and son Peter and James Byrne three for 16 and two for 16 respectively.

Congs were at Cleckheaton and consigned them to relegation, defeating the hosts by seven wickets.

But Henry Haslam (52 not out) needed similar support for Bingley and did not get it, Paul Stothart (4-51) leading the way for the home side.
