ALLAN BREW will be leading the local challenge in the Manx Grand Prix later in the summer.
Allan, 43, from Silsden, has entered for the four lap Classic Junior Race on a Drixton Aermacchi and the Classic Senior Rave on a Seeley G50.
He first rode in the manx in 1978 and finished second in the Newcomers Race. He has a collection of Manx replica trophies and finished 12th in the 1998 Junior Classic and 11th in the Senior.
Last year he took eighth place in the Senior Classic. He also finished runner-up in last year's UK Classic 500 Championship.
He has lapped the course at 96.85mph and his ambition this year is to break the magical 100mph average lap time, and win two replicas to add to his collection.
