Fiske Food Ingredients, part of the Bradford chemical distributor Ellis & Everard, has been appointed by BASF Plc as its sole UK distributor of products to the food and drinks market.
The firm was re-branded as Fiske by E&E earlier this year in a bid to put all its food ingredients distribution under one roof.
E&E, which has its headquarters in Peckover Street, Little Germany, is Europe's leading chemical company.
The BASF deal is part of a bigger agreement with E&E involving distribution of the firm's fine chemicals range used mainly in the cosmetics industry.
Mel Reid, Fiske's chief executive, said: "Since our launch in May, we have quickly established Fiske as one of the UK's leading food ingredients distributors. This latest development further strengthens our portfolio and capability to offer the widest range of products to our customers."
