Scare headlines in some Sunday newspapers are blamed by a Shipley doctor and his partner for a rush to their surgery today by people suffering only from colds, but fearing they had influenza. The doctor told the Telegraph and Argus: "Unnecessary panic has been caused by some of the Sunday newspapers. People who have just got ordinary colds are clamouring for assistance they really do not need."
