People running small businesses are to be shown ways of recovering from the foot and mouth epidemic.
The Federation of Small Businesses is to tour 26 towns -- the nearest Skipton -- giving expert advice over the next three months.
The federation has already set aside more than £500,000 in interest free loans to members.
The roadshow, costing £75,000, was launched on Monday, in Thirsk.
Denise Wilson, FSB development officer, said people would get the chance to speak to business advisors, accountants, bank managers and debt counsellors.
They would also be able to access the Internet and get guidance on promoting their business.
She said: "Small businesses are the backbone of the rural economy, with 90 per cent of firms having fewer than 100 employees and 40 per cent fewer than ten employees."
The roadshow -- supported by Yorkshire Forward, Business Link York and North Yorkshire County Council -- will arrive in Skipton on Monday, March 4.
It will call at Settle and Malham, on Tuesday, March 5, and Gargrave and Grassington, on Monday, March 11.
