A Steeton motorcyclist died after his machine was involved in a collision with a car near Blackburn.
Richard Michael Wood, 40, of Gamel View, was thrown from his Ducati 750 in last Friday afternoon's accident.
He was airlifted to the Royal Preston Hospital suffering from severe internal injuries, and died later.
The accident happened in Ribchester Road, Salesbury.
The driver of the car - a Ford Mondeo - was Barry Baxter, 75, of Milnthorpe. He and two elderly passengers were treated for shock, but were otherwise uninjured.
