ONLY two Alliance League games went ahead because of the Keighley & District Cup.

BCA United played host to Shoulder of Mutton who just had the edge in a tight game.

Shoulder opened the scoring only for BCA to equalise. They swapped goals again to be level 2-2 at the break. In the second period Shoulder found the net twice without reply. Scorers for Shoulder of Mutton were Simon Oxley, Chris Brookes, Dave Harman and Graham Whittaker while Joni Ali scored both BCA's goals.

The game between Albert Hotel and Bingley Town was a one-sided affair which Town had wrapped up by half time. They were already 5-0 up as both teams returned to the dressing room and they found the net a further three times in the second half.

Gareth Greenwood scored a consolation goal for Albert. Bingley's scorers were Andy Nelson (4), Stuart Hinds (2), Chris Boardman and Ben Dunne.

The game between Fleece and Wilsden had to be postponed at the eleventh hour when Keighley & District FA, who have priority, took their referee. It was another blow to Fleece's disjointed season which has seen them play only four games so far.

Fixtures: New Variety v Cavendish, Albert Hotel v Wilsden Village, Long Lee Victoria v Fleece, Cullingworth (2pm ko), Bocking v Silsden Athletic, Shoulder v Three Horses, Keighley United v Bingley Town, Sun-Oaklee v BCA Utd.
