Bocking were too strong for Stockbridge Rangers in the Keighley & District Sunday Cup.

In the first half Stockbridge managed to limit the score to 3-1, but Bocking ran riot in the second half, scoring six goals without reply. Darren Midgley bagged a hat-trick in the 9-1 victory with other goals from Robert Andrew (2), Mark Clark (2), David Nelson and Garry Binns.

The game between Keighley United and Boltmakers was a much closer affair, and needed extra time to decide the outcome. There was little to choose between the teams as they both scored two goals in the first half, but the second period saw defences take command and there were no more goals.

Boltmakers secured the winner in extra time.

The game between Sun-Oaklee and Long Lee Victoria was also a close affair which went to extra time. The first half was packed with end to end action and both teams found the back of the net once.

The tempo increased further in the second half and both teams scored again, but it took extra time for Long Lee Victoria to score the winning goal. Sun scorers were Thomas Lowe and Liam Blacka.

A single goal separated the teams when Three Horses took on Keighley Juniors in another close game. Juniors were leading 2-1 at the break and they clung on in an action-packed second half to win 4-3.

New Variety Club always had the upper hand in their clash with Silsden Athletic. The Keighley side scored five in the first half and although Silsden came more into the game after the break, both teams scored once. Leon Jeffries scored a hat-trick as New Varieties secured their 6-1 victory, with other goals from Adam Ackroyd, Johnny Lawrence and J Baker.

Keighley Athletic of the Wharfedale Triangle League beat Saltaire Rangers of the Bradford Sunday Alliance 4-1.
