It's been a humid week, but one thing the Bulls players won't be on Sunday is fatigued when they face Hull FC.
"Everyone has been raring to go in training," confessed Bulls second-rower Jamie Peacock.
And one reason, apart from the importance of the top-four clash, is that the players are benefiting from a light week of training last week.
"We only did two sessions instead of four," said Peacock. "It just got us away from Odsal, and it was good to have a break from the place considering how much we are there over the course of a season."
The importance of Sunday's match at the KC Stadium cannot be over-emphasised as Hull are two points and two places ahead of the fourth-placed Bulls.
And Peacock isn't being fooled by Hull's easier run-in: "They are second on merit. Their whole team couldn't really be playing any better," said the Great Britain international.
"Paul King is on fire for them at the moment, as is Richard Horne, and Richard Swain, Shaun Briscoe and Colin Best are all playing well too."
But Peacock is hoping to draw inspiration from playing at Hull's new stadium.
"The KC Stadium is one of my favourite venues. I love playing there. It is a wide, fast pitch which suits our style of rugby."
