The transformation of Bradford's Forster Square railway station and the creation of a canal basin village are among dramatic new plans for the city.
The skyline in the Channel Neighbourhood - one of four city-centre segments in Will Alsop's regeneration masterplan - is set to be transformed with stunning landmark buildings.
The detailed proposals for The Channel were revealed yesterday at an international development event in Cannes in the south of France.
The plans aim to create a new city centre community around Broadway's retail development and re-introduce water to the city centre.
Major elements include: apark and a series of water features running through the centre developing family-friendly town houses near Bradford Cathedral alandmark building at Forster Square station which could be the subject of a design competition.
