Man, 23, suffers fractured skull in Cleckheaton attack

A Cleckheaton man suffered a fractured skull when he was attacked at about 4am today.
The 23-year-old was knocked unconscious at the back of The George pub, Market Street. He was taken to hospital where police described him today as being in a serious but stable condition. Police have urged anyone with information about the attack to contact Dewsbury CID on (01924) 431012 or Crimestoppers anonymously on (0800)555 111.
