Whilst we have fools like you who make a race issue out of everything we will not get anywhere. If the poster was of a gang from a predominantly white area the chances are they would have all been White Christians or from a predominantly black area they would have been black Christians / Muslims.
If you really wish to make a positive contribution to the debate then maybe we should concentrate on the fact that the sentences were too short or the posters not big enough.This article has nothing to do with race , its meant to be about crime and the punishment that went with it , good or bad.

the poster shows 6 asian males,If it were too show 6 white males of course the courts should issue the same sentence.However this gang culture seems prominent in the asian areas of the city,much of the gun crime and drug dealing is done by asian gangs its widley known,this inturn has led to many areas turning into the wild west!!so inpart when it comes to gangs involved in criminal activities and when enough of those people are asian then it becomes a race issue,how many gangs are known to the police to be operating in wilsden,oxenhope etc and i cant quite remember any drive by shootings taking place in Thornton,the odds suggest that gangs are very very much race related in this area and anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves..

Bradford & Keighley have more than their fair share of scum of all cultures, colours and religion.
The courts consistently dish out low sentences ( if at all) for crimes of violence, drugs, burglary & sexual assault..... build more prisons I say and keep them in for longer if they continue to reoffend!

I would say to anyone thinking of voting BNP to think very very hard about what you are voting for.
The BNP are part of the problem, not part of the answer.

We need to educate our children in tolerance, peace, etc.
Theres a cahnce today to check out moderate Islam in town and about, as the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community are setting up their stall in I think the Interchange, amongst other places.
Why not have a listen before you commit to voting for the divided society the BNP are fostering?
I would send that message to fundamentalist Muslims too, who would do the same with their hatred of diversity

This story should concentrate on the fact that these people got on average less than 3 years each! ... less after 'good behaviour'.

The fact is these six individuals, 3 Pakistanis, 3 Bengalis have gone through the British Court system and hav been found guilty for the assault on two other Pakistanis.
Although there were 13 people that carried out the action, there wasn't sufficient evidence for the other 7.
As for the posters being posted through the letter box, that is exactly what we wanted.
Most of the people that got involved are brothers (blood-brothers) and are not "gang" affiliated unlike people here mentioning. One phone call is all it took for them to turn up at their brothers aid, but yes, they did over-react with bats and axes.

Not wishing to pick on Holme Wood as its full of decent people , but it also has its share of drugs and crime gangs and they are NOT Asian so its unfair to blame just the Asians.

Well OK then how do you know people are hiding behind their PC and preaching hate and division ?
Their opinions might well be through their first hand experiences (not everyones will be the same as yours) that is what I mean by assuming.
As Islam is a complete way of life and not just a religion and as people see it rapidly spreading and have doubts about its compatibility with the way this country is they voice their concern (I wont bore you with a series of tit for tat "well they did this and they did that" encounters).
The experiences that you portray appear to be quite positive, I myself spent thirty years working in peoples homes in the city (very many of them Asian) and later owned two businesses which employed people of various racial backgrounds and faiths, so any opinion I might express isnt necessarily through ignorance, But I have to consider the bigger and long term picture.
If you actually read through my posts on this thread you should find that they are not racial and as I am well known for knocking all the major belief systems they are not particularly discriminatory.
They do however reflect my concern that certain groups appear to be disproportionately involved in serious crime in the area, which brings us neatly back to the topic in question (on which you have expressed no opinion).
