It will be good to see Deacs again tomorrow night, although it will be strange to see him line up for the opposition.

I’ve not had the chance to catch up with him since he left but I’m sure we’ll get a chance to do that after the game. During it, he’ll just be another guy in red and white – there’s no friends on the pitch!

It’s another big game and another Sky game so it’s exciting and it will be a great test to see where we’re at.

I gave the coffee club a little bit of a mention last week. Well, this week we held it at the Village Hotel off the M62 for the second week running.

It used to be at Xscape in Castleford because founder members like myself and Wagga liked to keep it close to home.

But we opened it up for lads from Bradford and decided to choose a venue that’s a midway point for everyone.

Everyone seemed happy with that the first couple of weeks – there were no moaners – but now they’ve been given an inch, Stu Reardon and Elliott Whitehead are trying to take a yard and want to move it to Starbucks in Bradford town centre.

So they’re on strike now. They didn’t turn up this week and they’re staying away until we move it to Bradford.

There’s going to have to be talks this week and we might have to kick them out of the coffee club if they continue with this attitude.
