Former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott will be in Pudsey on Tuesday to talk about climate change.
Mr Prescott will visit Pudsey Grangefield School as part of his New Earth Deal school tour ahead of the United Nations climate change conference in Denmark in December.
He is visiting pupils to give presentations and gather young people’s opinions.
His hour-long chat will focus on the causes of climate change and the Kyoto environmental treaty, before he takes questions.
Head teacher Ken Cornforth said: “Our students are very much looking forward to learning what John Prescott has to say on the enormous issue of climate change.
"They recognise they will be representing young people from across the country and will be offering their own views on the message that he should carry to Copenhagen.”
