Blushing brides-to-be can find all they need to tie the knot at the Telegraph & Argus wedding fair this weekend.

Dubbed a “one-stop wedding shop” by organisers, the fair on Sunday will host more than 40 exhibitors, giving couples an overview of what is on offer in Bradford – from wedding dresses down to table decorations.

Sponsors Slimming World will offer a helping hand to brides, grooms, mothers-of-the-bride and bridesmaids, advising them on the best ways to keep trim for the big day.

The fair will run from 11am to 3.30pm, at the Cedar Court Hotel in Mayo Avenue, Bradford.

Entry is free and goody bags will be given to the first 50 brides-to-be through the door.

Visitors to the fair will also be entered into a prize draw with the chance of winning a luxury honeymoon in Cyprus, donated by The Wedding Guide.

Fashion shows, at noon and 2pm, will showcase the latest bridal ranges and seasonal styles, and clothing for the rest of the wedding party.

Wedding cars will be parked out front and inside the hotel will be displays by florists, jewellers and photographers – stalls will also offer information about cakes, beauty, hairdressing and possible venues for the ceremony and reception.

Amanda White, group events manager for the T&A, said: “Booking things like photographers and venues should sometimes be done 12 to 18 months in advance as they get booked up fast.

“This is a great chance to see what is on offer.

“People can pick up as much information as they need and even book on the day – it’s like a one-stop wedding shop.

“With wedding dresses at prices ranging from £200 to £5,000 there is really something for everyone.”

She said the last T&A wedding fair, in February, was a success, attracting more than 1,000 visitors.
