Bradford cheerleaders made a clean sweep at a national competition as they won every category they entered.
Girls in Panache Panthers Competition Team, based at Richard Dunn Sports Centre, Odsal, claimed seven first places at the ICC Nations Best Cheerleading Competition.
Panache Cheerschool is the first in the country to win as many first places in any single competition. Led by Robyn Morrison, the cheerleaders also cheer for the Bradford Bulls throughout the season, practising and perfecting routines for national competitions.
Mrs Morrison, wife of Bradford Bulls star Glenn Morrison, said she was overwhelmed with how well her team did at the competition at the University of Loughborough on Saturday.
She said: “We are always going into mini competitions and if we get a win, or second, or third, I’m always pleased, but this was a big competition for us and we have been working really hard all summer so to get that result was great.”
Girls or boys interested in becoming part of the cheer team should contact 07876 052885 for more information.
