Bradford Council’s tourism chief donned a giant pigeon costume to take part in the Fourth Plinth art project in Trafalgar Square, London, today.
Jane Glaister, the authority’s strategic director for culture, tourism and sport, was one of 2,400 people to be allocated an hour on the 22ft structure as part of sculptor Antony Gormley’s One & Other project.
Her blog on the One & Other website states: “I just loved the idea of the serendipity and the discipline which this project combines and wanted to be part of a national piece of art that makes me smile.”
