Teenage scooter rider hurst in Thornton crash

A teenage woman suffered a head injury after her scooter was involved in a collision with a car in Thornton, Bradford.
The 18-year-old is being treated in hospital where her condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
She was driving a pink Wangye 50cc scooter on Well Heads today at 5.20pm when it collided with a white Volvo C30, about 700 metres from the junction with Brighouse and Denholme Road.
The driver of a flatback lorry which was just ahead of the vehicles when the incident occurred or anyone who saw the incident and is asked to contact PC Phil Day on 0845 6060606.
