A driver had to be airlifted to hospital after his Toyota Land Cruiser was involved in an accident on the M62 at the Chain Bar Roundabout today.
Police said the driver lost control on the carriageway, near junction 26 westbound, before the vehicle crashed through fencing and rolled over.
The Toyota landed on its wheels but both the passenger and driver were injured.
Police said the injuries were not believed to be life threatening. Firefighters were called to the scene at about 9.50am.
Crew manager Richard Beevers, of Cleckheaton fire station, said the driver had to be cut out of the car but the passenger was out on their arrival. The driver was taken to Leeds General Infirmary by air ambulance.
