Bradford men in £500,000 conspiracy

Three Bradford men have been jailed for a total of 42 years after a £500,000 drugs importation and money laundering conspiracy.

Mohammed Faisal, 32, of Tyne Street, Wapping, who was sentenced to 16 years imprisonment, was managing director of the Yorkshire College in Manningham Lane, Manningham, which was described by the judge as a false college with the real purpose of facilitating the offence.

Roohul Amin, 35, of Raglan Terrace, Thornbury, was also jailed for 16 years. Both were convicted of drug smuggling and money laundering.

Ali Iftikhar, 39, of Thornbury Crescent, Thornbury, was jailed for ten years after he was convicted of money laundering but cleared of the drugs charge.

Mohammed Alamgir, 25, of Tyne Street, was found not guilty of both charges.
