Three famous cars used in the Le Mans 24-hour race will be stars of the show when the annual Bradford Classic returns to the city in July.
They include the LMP1 car that Aston Martin Racing is sending to this year’s Le Mans, its class winning DBR9 009 from last year, as well as the Jaguar XJR-9LM, the overall winner in 1988.
In a motoring first for the UK, the cars from Aston Martin Racing and Jaguar Heritage are to go on display as part of this year’s car show over the weekend of July 18 and 19.
Aston Martin Racing 2008 class-winning driver, Darr-en Turner, who will be fresh from competing at this year’s gruelling 24-hour Le Mans race, will be mingling and signing autographs for the crowds in Centenary Square.
