Two people have been taken to hospital after a collision in Valley Road, Bradford, at about 8.30am today.

Firefighters from Bradford and Idle cut two people free from a Peugeot that ended up on its side.

Martin Day, from Bradford Fire Station, said the vehicle's roof was removed with cutting equipment to free the trapped driver and passenger.

He said three fire engines attended the scene after the Peugeot collided with a Citroen.

The two injured people were taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
