Bradford records fifth biggest jump in UK


Last month Bradford recorded the fifth biggest jump in the UK for new properties coming on to the market.

According to new figures the district saw a 216 per cent increase in homes for sale. Towns and cities in the north saw by far the largest increases in new instructions.

In total 91,659 new properties came onto the market last month compared to 60,978 new properties in January. The figure for last month was the largest number of new properties for sale since April 2008.

Other areas which saw large increases were Barnsley (476 per cent), Norwich (320 per cent), Rotherham (283 per cent) and Huddersfield (243 per cent).

Manchester saw the most new instructions, registering 1,713 new properties in February compared to 765 in January, according to a property search website.

Unfortunately they are not selling,nobodies giving mortgages,look at the new builds on thorpe edge on crag view ,half built ,half let, wont be long before the vandals get in and ruin everything, your headline tries to make out everything looks rosy ,but these properties will still be up for sale this time next year.its called a resession!

Does anyone want them?
Maybe no buyers that why so many for sale.
People of Bradford want a shopping center but they not getting that, what a funny place Bradford is.
