A man was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with serious injuries after a van was in a collision with a tipper truck.
Police were called to Halifax Road, Odsal, at 3.25pm today when the driver was trapped in the van.
Three lanes in Halifax Road were closed while the vehicles were recovered.
The driver was taken by paramedics to hospital with serious injuries.
Firefighters were also called to the scene but watch manager Andy Mason, of Odsal fire station, said the driver was out of the vehicle by the time they arrived.
He said: “I believe the lorry was parked so there only one driver and he was out when we got there.”
