Investigations have been launched into two separate fires which claimed the lives of three people in Bradford.
A man and a woman died in a flat fire in Cecil Avenue, Great Horton early today.
The small block of flats was evacuated when firefighters were called to the scene at 5.55am.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "It has now been established that two people have died in the property."
Crews from Odsal and Bradford were at the scene this morning and enquiries had begun into the cause of the fire.
Last night a woman died in a house fire in Eccleshill.
Firefighters were called to the property at 9.09pm.
A police spokesman said a female occupant of the house died as a result of the fire and enquiries were ongoing to establish the cause.
He said it was too early to say whether either fire was being treated as suspicious.
Anyone with information on either fire has been asked to contact police on 0845 6060606.
