Firefighters had to cut a man free from his car after it was in collision with another vehicle in Clayton, Bradford.
Police closed off Low Lane, following the collision between a Vauxhall Zafira and the man’s car at about 2.40pm today.
Two fire crews from Fairweather Green and one from Odsal used cutting equipment to free the man, believed to be in his mid-20s, from the vehicle.
He was complaining of chest pains and an injury to his ribs and was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary for treatment.
A woman who was driving the Zafira also suffered minor injuries but managed to walk to an ambulance, which took her to the infirmary.
Traffic travelling towards Low Lane was re-directed by police along streets nearby while the crash wreckage was cleared.
