The Airedale railway line will be closed on four successive Sundays to allow engineering work to take place.
The line will be blocked at Steeton for track renewals on Sundays September 14, 21 and 28 and October 5.
Northern Rail will operate diesel services between Leeds and Bradford Forster Square and Keighley in each direction, with connecting buses between Keighley and Skipton calling at Steeton & Silsden and Cononley.
Trains from Leeds to Morecambe or Carlisle will start from and terminate at Skipton.
Overall journey times beyond Keighley will be extended.
