A woman driver lost control of her car, crashed into a garage at the bottom of her drive and had to be rescued by firefighters.
Firefighters were called to Mowbray Close in Cullingworth shortly after 11am today.
It is believed the Nissan Micra, which has an automatic gearbox, was travelling at up to 30mph when it smashed into the garage doors.
Station manager Andy Newman, of Bingley fire station, said: “She was driving the car into the drive and for whatever reason the car sped up.
“Judging by the damage on the garage the car was travelling between 20mph and 30mph.
“The car went through the garage doors, partly demolishing them.
“The doors had to be cut off to give us access to get the car out while the casualty was still in the car.”
The woman was taken to hospital by paramedics. The extent of her injuries was not known.
Crews from Haworth and Fairweather Green also attended the rescue.
