Ears one for charity

4:11pm Monday 1st October 2001

A PHARMACIST got in touch with his feminine side on Monday to raise money for breast cancer research.

Peter Dedman, 53, who works at Scotts Pharmacy in High Street, Bromley, volunteered to have his left ear pierced by a colleague on Monday.

Members of staff drew lots to see who would have the pleasure of piercing his unsuspecting lobe with a pink stud.

Mr Dedman has already raised £200 for Get in the Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

If you would like to make a donation to his fundraising effort and his ear, call the pharmacy on 020 8460 3431.
